When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so here.

How to report a mistake

1. Email [email protected] with the address of the page.
2. Say which number or sentence looks wrong, and, if you can, where you saw the right value (for example the agency's own gauge page).

We check every report against the official agency record.

What happens next

• Our mistake (wrong place matched to a gauge, wrong name, wrong unit or datum, a fault in how we compute "normal"): we fix it on every affected page and add an entry below.
• The agency's data (for example a faulty sensor reading): we do not change official numbers ourselves. We tell you how to report it to the agency, and our pages follow when the agency corrects its record.
